| Personal History | Alexis was the second daughter and 3rd overall child born to the Aenera family, five minutes prior to her twin brother Fontaine. While the Aeneras were a well-to-do family, they were lower levels of the members of the planetary aristocracy of Roma Nueva, a planet on the fringes of known Federation space who are allied with the Federation. A robust personnel-exchange with Starfleet is in place to keep both sides communicating with each other. As a child, Alexis was fascinated with puzzles of all kinds, both jigsaw and book variety and had a spatial recognition factor that ranked in the 99th percentile of her age group. She also was an accomplished gymnast in her youth, going to the regional finals three years running during her school years and before she was accepted to the Imperial Roman Academy. While she was on the Academy gymnastics team, Alexis never achieved better than fourth place in any of those tournaments. Upon gaining her commission as Centurion Junior along the engineering track from the Imperial Academy, she was assigned to the destroyer Centaurus with a specialization in power systems, spending nearly a year there before being given the option to join the exchange program to the Federation. Due to her exceedingly junior rank in the Imperial Navy, she was inducted into the Federation as a 3rd Class Petty Officer aboard the USS Longmire, a Nova-class starship as her first assignment. |
